by Azariah Manning
The world of sports for women is beyond just playing an activity or physical exertion. There is an inspiring journey behind the women who have molded the sports industry.
Women in sports showcase a compelling caliber of talent and commitment.
Whether these women were athletes, coaches, executives or even broadcasters, the duties are endless to the trailblazing efforts women have contributed to the world of sports, and it is about time their remarkable efforts are highlighted and celebrated.
“The much-anticipated museum will be a living, breathing museum featuring interactive, state-of-the-art exhibits that recognize the women who have given their time, talent, tears and triumphs to defy gender stereotypes and lead all women to heights beyond expectation.”

Believe it or not the world has yet to see an entire assemblage, or national museum solely commemorating the women who have given their talent and courageous efforts to the industry.
The Women’s Sports Museum is set to launch in the city of Sarasota, Florida.
The WSM organization has a set five year plan.
The first 3 years have been dedicated to the pop up exhibit experiences along with raising awareness through annual galas and launch events to drive sponsorships and community support to assure the historic exhibit becomes a reality.
The WSM organization has yet to secure a permanent location but is very close to beginning processes of building the dynasty.
The Women’s sports museum is more than just creating another accolade collective. Its inspires young women and girls through the lens of sports.
It challenges the social barriers stemmed upon women involving their truths and passion in a male dominated industry.
It showcases the complexities and dynamism that only women can overcome. The WSM movement is revolutionary.
“THE SIGNIFICANCE OF HAVING A WOMEN’S SPORTS MUSEUM GOES BEYOND GIVING US A VOICE... WE NEED A PERMANENT PLACE THAT SHOWCASES OUR HISTORY, CELEBRATES OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND INSPIRES OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS.”
