Christian Atsu found dead in Aftermath of Turkish Earthquake - Following the tragic earthquake that struck southern Turkey and northern Syria last week, the body of former Chelsea player Christian Atsu has been discovered.  The 31-year-old had not been seen or heard from since the devastating 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck early on February 6th;… however, one of his agents has now confirmed that his body was found buried beneath the debris.
Twelve days after the catastrophe, Christian Atsu's Turkish agent, Murat Uzunmehmet, broke the heartbreaking news, telling media on Saturday:  'Atsu's lifeless body was found under the rubble. Currently, more items are still being taken out. His phone was also found.'
The Ghanaian, who played for Antakya side Hatayspor, was misidentified and wrongly reported as being hospitalized "with injuries" last week following the earthquake that killed over 45,000 people.
