The Russell Westbrook experience in Los Angeles has so far not been working. He was reportedly acquired by the Lakers to remove the workload out of LeBron James and to perhaps help Anthony Davis on offense. Unfortunately, this hasn’t come to fruition yet as L.A. is currently in the sixth seed of the Western Conference and are under .500

Yes, the Lakers are dealing with injuries and a couple of players in and out of the health and safety protocols, but given how much cap space Westbrook consumes, the expectations must be high for the Brodie. And so far, it’s been a disappointing season for the Lakers. The good news for Los Angeles is that they still have enough time to move their supposed third All-Star.

In his last 15 games, Westbrook has averaged 20.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 7.7 assists while shooting 49.1 percent from the field and 32.6 percent from deep. These types of numbers could help out a lot of teams around the league. The Los Angeles Lakers just seemingly aren’t one of those teams, unfortunately.

His contract may scare some teams away, but with how close everything seems to be getting around the league, desperate times could call for desperate measures. Blockbuster NBA trades don’t happen often, but one involving Westbrook this year would definitely fall under that category. That sort of deal would break the internet.

What are some NBA trades that would help find Westbrook a new home? What could the Lakers get back in return for the aging superstar?
